This is a fun tour planned by Prof. Plagens, a member of the MISHOP board and hot springs enthusiast and Chair of the MISHOP Hot Springs Research Association.
This year we are going to Itou, a famous onsen (hot spring) town.
We can enjoy a variety of hot springs such as a Rotenburo (outside bath) and Iwaburo (bath surrounded by rocks), as well as have a Japanese style party called Enkai, with a feast of fresh seafood.

Date: Jan. 29 (Sun) ~30 (Mon) 2012, Overnight stay
Accommodation: Ito Hotel Juraku (281 Oka, Itou-shi, Shizuoka-ken)
Cost : Approx. 17,000 yen (including accommodation and transportation)
Eligibility: Foreigners living in Mitaka and members of MISHOP.
Itinerary: 1/29 (Day 1)
Around 13:00 : Leave Tokyo station
15:30 : Arrive at Itou Station
15:50 : Arrive at the hotel by shuttle bus, take baths, followed by Dinner at Enkai room
1/30- (Day2) : Around 10:00 : Leave Itou Station, after buffet style breakfast at the hotel and checking out
12:00: Arrive at Tokyo station at 12 and disband. (exact time may change according to the train schedule)
